Back in the day, there was hardly a bike without a dynamo. Usually friction driven, they often produced a soft, ineffectual, flickering glow. This is the 2013 manifestation: a light and gadget recharger all-in-one. The Ecoxpower comes with integrated front and rear lights as well as a USB recharger for your smartphone, MP3 player or bike GPS. It has an internal battery and you need to get up to 5kph (walking pace) to get the juice flowing. About 90 minutes at 18kph will fully charge the Ecoxpower battery, but you might be spent.
